What scent suits me best?
It mainly depends on the type of forest feeling you're looking for.
Original Pine is fresh, green and distinct.
Nordic Cedar is cool, woody and refined.
Forest Moss is deep, earthy and layered.
After the Rain is more subtle, softly earthy and complex.

How strong are the scents?
Not every scent has the same intensity.
Original Pine and Nordic Cedar are clearly present when burning. Forest Moss is full and noticeable, but has a softer and deeper character. After the Rain is the most subtle of the four scents and unfolds gradually.
A more subtle scent does not mean the scent is less good — some scents are specifically designed to be more understated.
What kind of forest scents are they?
Our fragrances are all inspired by different moments in the forest.
Original Pine is fresh and classic, Nordic Cedar cool and woody, Forest Moss deep and earthy, and After the Rain subtle and layered.
Each scent has its own character, without feeling overly sweet or perfumed.
Can I use the candles if I have pets?
Scented candles can be used in a home with pets, but always ensure good ventilation and never leave a burning candle unattended.
Keep the candle out of reach of animals and prevent them from coming into direct contact with the flame or hot wax.
Some animals are more sensitive to scents than humans. If you notice your pet reacting restlessly to a scent, extinguish the candle and ventilate the room.
How long does a candle burn?
A Pine Scented candle contains 165 grams of wax and, when used correctly, has a burn time of approximately 35 hours.
The exact burn time may vary slightly, depending on factors such as the length of the wick and how long you let the candle burn each time.
How do I best burn my candle?
On the first burn, let the candle burn long enough for the top layer of wax to melt largely to the edge. This helps prevent tunneling.
Before each new burn, trim the wick to approximately 5 mm and preferably do not burn the candle for more than about 4 hours at a time.
What is tunneling?
Tunneling occurs when only the center of the candle melts, leaving unused wax around the edges.
You can prevent this mainly by letting the candle burn long enough during the first few uses, so that a wide melt pool forms.
Why do you use rapeseed wax?
Our candles are made with 100% European rapeseed wax.
Rapeseed wax is plant-based and produced in Europe. Furthermore, the wax burns steadily and is very suitable for scented candles.
Where are the candles made?
All candles are hand-poured by us in Amersfoort.
We work in small batches, so we can maintain control over the pouring process and the finish of each candle.

The four candles are packaged together in one box.
Can I gift a candle?
Certainly! Each candle comes in a kraft box and is ready to be given as a gift.
Choose the free gift option on the product page and we will add a special pine-scented card with the sender's name.
How quickly will my order be shipped?
Orders are typically processed and shipped within 1–2 business days.
Once shipped, you will receive tracking information, where applicable.
What are the shipping costs?
For a single candle, you can choose from:
€3.45 — delivery to a PostNL point
€3.95 — home delivery
For larger orders, the shipping costs are:
€5.45 — delivery to a PostNL point
€5.95 — home delivery

Can I return my order?
Yes. Unused products can be returned according to our return policy.
Because scent is very personal, we recommend checking the product descriptions and our scent selection guide before purchasing.

My candle smells less strong than expected. How can that be?
The perception of scent varies from person to person and also depends on the room in which the candle is burning.
In a smaller, enclosed space, scent builds up faster than in a large, open living room. Additionally, some scents are deliberately more subtle than others. After the Rain, for example, has a softer presence than Original Pine or Nordic Cedar.
Is the packaging recyclable?
The kraft box can be disposed of with paper and cardboard waste.
The glass jar can be cleaned and reused after use, or recycled via the designated glass recycling stream.
